The MyGuestlist team has launched a brand new CRM & Marketing platform called Connect which is designed to be the successor to the MyGuestlist platform. We'll be migrating all existing MyGuestlist users over to the Connect platform in 2025.
Accounts will be migrated in blocks. When it's your turn to upgrade to Connect, a member of our migration team will be in touch to let you know when it's your time to migrate along with a link to activate your brand new Connect account.
Virtually all the upgrade process will be handled by our migration team, there will be very little you need to do on your end. Once you've activated your account, we'll start setting up your account.
All of the following will be done for you:
- Full export and upload of your customer database
- Integrations re-created and set up for you
- Re-creation of your 2 most recent email campaigns (so you can use these for future sends)
- Re-creation of any automations (and matching templates) you currently have live
- Re-creation of any website forms that are currently active (i.e. have had a submission in the last 3 months)
You’ll also get access to 15 new expert created templates to give you some new ideas and to show you the power of Connect.
You will need to complete the following two steps during your upgrade - we'll let you know when it's time to do each:
- Update your domain settings and website forms to work with Connect rather than MyGuestlist (we will provide instructions on how to do this)
- Get in contact with your contacts for API keys for any of your reservation/POS integrations, if applicable
How long is my upgrade expected to take?
The migration process takes 2-3 weeks. During this time, you’ll have full access to your MyGuestlist account, so you’ll experience no downtime.
The period for my upgrade doesn't work for me - can I select a new time?
There is a limited amount of room to move upgrade time periods around so if you need to delay your upgrade, please ensure you let you migration rep know as soon as possible after being contacted.
Why am I being contacted by “me&u” for my upgrade?
MyGuestlist was acquired by Mr Yum in 2022. In 2023, Mr Yum and me&u merged into one entity. We’re still the same team you know and trust, just with a different name!
