Refer a Friend Competitions are one of the most common type of Competitions run. Their ability to reach a broader audience can greatly help your competition.
John completes a form on your Competitions page. John is asked to provide the name and email address of a friend, so he enters his friend Sam. John is added to your MyGuestlist database, and when Sam completes the same form, John receives an entry.
Refer a friend competitions reward people based on the number of friends they refer, as opposed to the number of times they complete the form. That means John could send us the same persons email address 17 times, but until that friend enters the competition themselves, John won't receive an entry, and will only receive one entry for that email address.
Entrants who complete the form, and provide a friends email address are stored in your MyGuestlist database. Their friends email address is not stored or added to your MyGuestlist database, until the friend enters the competition themselves.
